How can I help with my child's learning at home?

Half Term Homework

At St. Wulstan's we are using the website 'Purple Mash' to access a range of engaging and useful activities to support children's learning across the curriculum. This can be accessed on a desktop computer or can be downloaded in app form onto tablets and phones. The app is designed to be child friendly and will enable your child to access it independently.

Your child's login for Purple Mash has been stuck into their reading diary. Feel free to explore the Year 3 content of the website yourself.

On the '2Do' tab, you may find tasks that we have assigned to the children. On completion of these tasks, we will be notified and can send feedback back to you, so keep checking Purple Mash for updates!

Some other helpful resources to help you support your child at home are linked below:

Class Timetable

Fast Spellings  - these change every half term. The children will be tested on their recall of these key spellings at the end of every half term.

Fast Maths - multiplication practice every day will help your child's quick recall of times tables knowledge.

Handwriting sheets  - You could practise your Fast Spellings on these, or get creative!

Daily Reading - to be completed using Oxford Reading Buddy- Logins are in the front of your child's diary.

Daily Prayers - at school, we pray four times a day. This is a key part of your child's spiritual development. We would like to encourage you to pray these prayers, as well as your own prayers, in your daily routine at home.

Our Class Saint is St Therese of Lisieux, you can learn more about her here.
