Welcome to St Wulstan’s Catholic Primary School

We are delighted to welcome you to our website, where you can find out more about our excellent school and what we have to offer. At St Wulstan’s, we believe that every child is unique and has their own talents and abilities. We are committed to providing a positive and caring environment in which every child is valued and respected.
As a Catholic School, we aim to provide an education underpinned by Gospel teaching, where our children are encouraged to care for each other and have a strong sense of belonging. Our school values form an integral part of our weekly assemblies, and each term we focus on a different area, ensuring that our children have a clear understanding of our school’s message.
Our school offers a broad and balanced curriculum, led by highly motivated staff who are passionate about providing the best possible learning and teaching experiences. We believe that children learn best when they are motivated, and we love to see children laughing and enjoying their learning.
Our partnership with parents is a key part of our success, and we encourage parents to support their children with reading and homework. We also offer full before and after-school facilities, extending the day from 7.30am until 5.30pm for all year groups, at an additional cost.
We have a rich sporting and musical tradition, with opportunities for children to develop their skills and participate in inter-school competitions and concerts. Our pastoral support team works closely with families and children requiring additional support, ensuring that their needs are met at the earliest possible stages.
We are always delighted to welcome prospective parents to our school, and we encourage you to visit us during the school day to see our delightful children in action.
Thank you for considering St Wulstan's Catholic Primary School for your child's learning journey.  We look forward to meeting you soon.
