Currently, the minimum age to open an account on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, TikTok and Snapchat is 13 years of age. Therefore, it is crucial that parents monitor children's online activity and discuss with children the dangers that they may face when accessing Social Media sites.
