A little about our school from our Faith Leaders

Our Catholic Faith

Whilst our school is Catholic in nature, you do not have to be Catholic to attend St Wulstan's. In our school our children grow in the knowledge that they are children of God. At all times the Gospel values of love and respect for one another underpin the entire curriculum. We work closely with our parish churches of St Wulstan's and St John the Evangelist in Chesterton. Our Parish Priest, Fr Dom is a great support to the school, offering weekly school masses for the children to increasingly understand their faith.

We believe that because of our ethos of love and respect, behaviour at St Wulstan's is strong. Children understand and follow the school rules, underpinned by our values.

Celebrating our Faith

Our mission as Catholic educators is to develop children's understanding of the role God has chosen for them in society and we support children by developing a curriculum where children develop empathy for others and society. We develop an understanding of the need for stewardship of God's world. In Nursery and Reception this may be by looking at recycling, walking to school and fundraising for others.
